Workshops for parents with ADD/ADHD children

Sandra’s House operates from a house in Linden where learners have access to wireless internet for research purposes. Tablets are provided for learners who don’t have access to computers. We currently have two permanent teachers with tutors who assist as needed.

The centre opens at 7.30 in the morning and classes starts at 8.00. Each lesson is 45 min – 1 hour with four breaks of 15 min each after each class. School ends at 14.00 Mon-Thurs and 13.00 on Fridays. The last period of the day is dedicated to extra work, skills training and tests. Our approach to teaching emphasizes individual attention.
Primary school learners must enroll with a curriculum provider (eg. Cambridge, Brainline or Impak). We cater for the CAPS curriculum as well as International programs. Learners will receive the syllabus and tests from the curriculum provider. Fees to the curriculum provider must be paid directly to them and are not included in our monthly fee. We are more than happy to assist should you need help in choosing a curriculum provider. Should textbooks not be provided by the curriculum provider, it is the client’s responsibility to obtain it.

Tell us about your experience at our workshop, or general comments or questions about ADD/ADHD.
